Hitman Pro 2.7.0.0 RC2 is a free anti-spyware package that includes third party software.
The software included is freeware (SurfRight, Lavasoft AdAware SE, Safer Networking Spybot - Search & Destroy, TrendMicro CWShredder, JavaCool Software SpywareBlaster, Ewido Micro Scanner) or commercial, like Eset NOD32 antivirus system (30 days trial), Webroot Spy Sweeper (7 days trial), PC tools Spyware doctor (demo, does not clean till registered), McAfee VirusScan SuperDAT (only virus signature updates), SunBelt CounterSpy (15 Day Trial). When you update, it will include another application, in this case (2.7.0 to 2.7.6), the program added Prevx CSI to the anti-spyware group.
When you run a scan, the program will search and download every program and update you´ve chosen in the setup menu, and then will scan your system for spyware and viruses. You can setup each program´s options separately. You will also have to agree with some screen. Hitman Pro will do some of this work for you, choosing the default answers
In the end, if you have the "Automatically remove threats" box checked, they will be automatically removed. If not, you will be asked which actions to take. |
